Halle Gulbrandsen is Canadian writer and commercial pilot from Ladner, BC. Her fiction and poetry have been published in several literary magazines including The New Quarterly, Juniper, Lines + Stars, CV2, filling Station, The Antigonish Review and The Garden Statuary. Halfway through completing her BFA in Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia, she began pursuing a career as a pilot. She completed both her degree and flying licences in 2017.
When not in the sky, she can be found near the ocean with a dog, pulling poetry onto paper or working on her short story collection.
